Creating Groups in Naviance

You are strongly encouraged to create a group in Naviance that consists of your Student Leads (7th) period roster. Once you complete this, it will be easier to send messages directly to the group or individual students in the group regarding their online Naviance assignments.

Log in to Naviance @ succeed.naviance.com
account: hisd-wheatley
type in your account info
Below is the home screen when you first log in

Click on Students

Next, click on groups

Click on Add New Group on the top left side

The code should be your ROOM NUMBER
The name of the group should be your name followed by Student Leads
For example, I created a group called Mrs.Square Student Leads

Click on edit members next to your group and add students to your group. You can add from one grade level at a time. Click on UPDATE MEMBERSHIP before you start adding students from a different grade level.
